SOS Praderas<\/strong> aims to promote sustainable management of hay meadows to promote its conservation. The project seeks to stop the loss of associated biodiversity through its assessment, adequate management, the application of agri-environmental subsidies and the marketing of new products (seed mixtures). SOS Praderas<\/strong> is based on a practical approach. Prior accumulated knowledge allows taking direct measures on the ground. It also has a multiplying effect, as once the objectives have been achieved, they may be immediately replicable in other territories across the SUDOE area.
\nThe problem of biodiversity loss associated with hay meadows is common all over Europe. The legal framework in terms of protection and applicable grant schemes also has a European dimension. It is only logical that the issue must be addressed as a whole. SOS Praderas<\/strong> looks backwards to reach the future.
